Halloween and Eastons 5th birthday

So I know that this post is a little late (sorry). Halloween was a beautiful day, Easton and Lukas were SO excited to go trick or treating. Mia...well the banana slept through her first trick or treating experience. Easton was Iron Man, Lukas a skunk and Mia a banana. And trust me we are still eating on Halloween candy!

Easton is 5!!

This is the first year that I let Easton have a little kids party for his birthday. He was extremely excited and had 7 little boys over to play for a couple of hours. It was a beautiful day and they got to play outside (thank goodness) and had a blast. Later that evening we had family and friends over for supper and monster truck cake! Yes, I made the cake....each year I ask the kids what cake they want....I can only imagine what next years will be. They sure make me use my imagination! Happy 5th Birthday Easton!

Cox ponds pumpkin patch and cousins!

My sister Michelle and my niece and nephew (Molly and Sam) came to Imperial this weekend to meet Mia and visit the new house. Molly exclaimed that they were almost to the North Pole (north platte) and Sam agreed that yes Easton did live a long ways away. Anyway we are glad they made the trip to see us!
Sam and Molly and Lukas out searching for the perfect pumpkin!

This is what happens when I try to get a picture of the boys together! ha! It was too chilly for Amelia to get out of her carrier so unfortunatly I don't have a "family" pic to share this time.

Horse rides compliments of Grandma Marla!

Face paintings, cotton candy, hot dogs, popcorn, corn maze and lots of fun!

Lukas had to get what big brother had....of course!

Sam sporting the cotton candy beard!
We were so glad to have you guys come visit....maybe will will make it a yearly outing?

9 days old.......

Well, things are slowly adjusting at our household. Mia is a pretty good baby, the boys play loud and she sleeps right through it, she really doesn't fuss much and is a good eater. Aunt Jan bought her a pretty new headband so of course I had to play around and take some pictures.

Welcoming a girl to the family

Amelia Kenly Fries aka "Mia" was born on Friday September 24, 2010 at 3:45pm CT, she was 7lbs 9.4 oz and 20 1/2 in long. She has long fingers and big feet!

Big Brother Easton was so excited it was a little girl, when they came to visit in the hospital he opted to stay with mommy at the hospital while everyone else went to McDonalds. He wanted to stay and help with the baby but did request that they bring a Happy Meal back for him. What a sweet boy!

Lukas didn't quite know what to think, he just wanted to hold baby Mia.

Amelia had her brothers picture on her bed at the hospital!

All dressed and ready to head home to Imperial, glad to finally be home!

Easton and Lukas and excited to have a little sister and think she is pretty special! So do Josh and I!

Shoe Fettish, Spidermen, and Horses.....

Just within the last few days, Lukas has developed a shoe fettish! Between boots that are too big for him or walking around in Eastons shoes, or wanting to wear a specific pair of his shoes.....I guess I am rubbing off on him! ha!
Easton has always liked to play dress up, and of course little brother Lukas has to copy what big brother does. Here are my two little spidermen! Easton is now 4 1/2 and Lukas is 21 months. Easton has started playing soccer this year in Imperial and is LOVING it! He is also getting close to the end of his first year of preschool.

Lukas is starting to talk more and more and still wants everything that big brother has. :) His favorites are trains, trucks, tractors and Ka Chow (Lightning McQueen)!

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Zelenksy gave the boys these horses for Easter! Lukas looked like a true rancher with his tractors in tow! I had a massage so the boys spent the morning in the tractor with Papa Kenny and Daddy. Lukas took a little snooze and Easton was excited that I brought Pizza Hut for lunch!

Lazy Day

We live for the weekend, for those lazy mornings....sometimes. I caught the boys watching their cartoons and actually laying by each other without smacking each other.
